These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of limo-losangeles.com (the "Website") and to transportation services you reserve with Elite Limo LA (also known as Elite Limo Los Angeles, "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Website, submitting a booking request or riding with us, you agree to these Terms. If you book for a group, please make sure everyone in your party knows the rules that apply to them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website or our services.
Licensing and Insurance
Elite Limo LA operates as a charter-party carrier under California Public Utilities Commission permit TCP 2***8-P. Our vehicles are commercially insured, and our chauffeurs are background-checked, drug-tested and trained in customer service and defensive driving.
Booking Requests and Confirmed Reservations
- A request is not a booking. Submitting the form on our booking page sends a request to our team. It does not reserve a vehicle and does not guarantee availability or price. The Website does not provide instant confirmation or online payment.
- Confirmation. After you submit a request, our team contacts you to review the details, availability and price. Your reservation is confirmed only when our team confirms it to you.
- Accurate information. Please give us complete and accurate details, including pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, number of passengers, flight details for airport pickups, any planned extra stops, and the ages and weights of children who need car seats. Your price and vehicle are based on the information you provide.
- Vehicle capacity. The number of passengers may not exceed the capacity of the vehicle reserved.
- Vehicle details. Photos and descriptions on the Website are for general reference. If a specific model, color or feature matters to you, tell us when you request the booking so we can confirm it.
- Booking ahead. We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead for weddings, proms, holidays and graduation season. Last-minute requests are accepted subject to availability.
- Changes. If your plans change after confirmation, contact us as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may change the price.
Rates and Additional Charges
Rates shown on our pricing page are for general information. Prices are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed, and the price that applies to your ride is the one our team confirms.
- Hourly service. Most hourly services have a 3-hour minimum.
- Airport transfers. Airport transfers are point-to-point flat rates without an hourly minimum. Airport rates include meet and greet, luggage assistance and complimentary wait time.
- Party buses. Party bus service is priced by quote only.
- What every ride includes. A professional chauffeur, fuel and taxes, bottled water and commercial insurance.
- Gratuity. Gratuity is not included in our rates. A gratuity of 15–20% is customary.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra stops. Tell us about stops when you book so they are included in your quote. Stops added during the ride may change the price.
- Extra wait time. Waiting beyond the complimentary wait time is billed at the hourly rate for the vehicle reserved.
- Service outside our standard area. Our standard service area includes Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and San Bernardino counties. Service to other areas is available on request and is quoted separately.
- Damage and cleaning. See "Damage to Vehicles" below.
Deposits and Payment
- A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is 25% for most services; weddings and large events may require a 50% deposit.
- The remaining balance is due at the time of service.
- Any additional charges incurred during your service are payable in addition to the confirmed price.
- We accept major credit cards, PayPal and cash. Corporate checks are accepted by arrangement.
- Corporate accounts may be set up with monthly billing on net-30 terms. The terms of a corporate account agreement apply to rides booked under that account.
Cancellations and No-Shows
- More than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup: full refund.
- Within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup: 50% of the reservation total is charged.
- Same-day cancellation or no-show: the full reservation total is charged.
A no-show means no passenger appeared for the scheduled pickup and the reservation was not cancelled. To cancel, contact us by phone or email. The time we receive your cancellation determines which of the rules above applies. Our phone line is staffed 24/7, so for short-notice cancellations we recommend calling (310) 555-1234.
Airport Pickups
- We serve LAX, Hollywood Burbank (BUR), Long Beach (LGB), John Wayne / Orange County (SNA) and Ontario (ONT). Other airports are available on request.
- Please give us your airline and flight number when you book, and tell us if your flight changes to a different flight or date.
- We track flights in real time. If your flight lands early or late, your pickup time is adjusted at no charge.
- Meet and greet at baggage claim with a name sign is included in all airport pickups, along with help with your luggage.
- Complimentary wait time is 60 minutes for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights, counted from the actual landing time.
- Waiting beyond the complimentary wait time is billed at the hourly rate for the vehicle reserved.
Passenger Conduct and Safety
- Alcohol. Passengers 21 and over may bring their own alcoholic beverages in limousines and party buses only. We do not provide alcohol; ice and glassware are provided. No one under 21 may drink alcohol in our vehicles. Prom rides are alcohol-free for all passengers.
- Smoking and illegal substances. Smoking and illegal substances are not permitted in any vehicle.
- Seat belts and child restraints. Passengers must use seat belts and child restraints as required by California law. Child car seats and booster seats are available free of charge on request; please give the children's ages and weights when booking.
- Ending a ride. The chauffeur may end a ride, without refund, if any passenger's conduct is unsafe or unlawful, including underage drinking, use of illegal substances, violence or threats, or behavior that endangers passengers, the chauffeur, the public or the vehicle.
Damage to Vehicles
If passengers damage a vehicle or leave it in a condition that needs more than normal cleaning (for example, from spills, stains, burns or vomit), the person who made the reservation may be charged the reasonable cost of repair or cleaning.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Travel times depend on conditions we cannot control, such as traffic, weather, road closures and accidents. We are not responsible for delays caused by these circumstances or for resulting losses, such as missed flights, events or reservations, to the extent permitted by law. Please allow extra time for time-sensitive trips, such as flights and ceremonies.
Lost and Found
We are not responsible for personal belongings left in our vehicles. If you think you left something behind, contact us as soon as possible, and we will make reasonable efforts to locate it and arrange its return.
Use of the Website
- Content accuracy. Information on the Website, including rates, vehicle descriptions, service areas and travel times, is provided for general information. We work to keep it current, but it may contain errors or become out of date, and we may correct it at any time. The details confirmed by our team for your reservation take priority over general Website content.
- Acceptable use. You agree not to submit false or fraudulent requests, submit another person's information without their permission, use automated tools to submit forms or copy content, interfere with the Website or its security features, or use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
- Our content. The text, graphics, logos, photos and design of the Website belong to Elite Limo LA or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or use Website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Links to other websites. Links to websites we do not operate are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
- Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information you submit through the Website.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elite Limo LA and its owners, employees, chauffeurs and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits or the cost of missed flights, events or reservations, arising from your use of the Website or our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that reservation.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under California law, including liability for bodily injury or death caused by our negligence, for fraud or for willful misconduct, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms, the Website or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and change the effective date at the top. Updated Terms apply to use of the Website after they are posted and to reservations confirmed after their effective date. The Terms in effect when your reservation was confirmed apply to that reservation.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
